Updates!

Happy February!

For a while, January was looking a lot like month 13 of the shittiest year I’ve seen in a while. It seems to be backing off a wee bit. Especially since the oft rumored collection All These Steps Lead Down is closer to being released!

Later than intended, but soon. I promise.

There are still a couple of things to sort through and it will be unleashed. I’m getting really excited about this one for a ton of reasons. For one thing, the delays are not bad things as they sometimes are. The edits are going well as is the book design, and distribution.

Yes, distribution. More on that later.

I also have some really cool stuff coming up in concert with a promotion company I’ve supported for year and finally getting to work with them-TBM Horror. Headed by the bold mom herself Mar Garcia, there was a contest for a 250 word horror story which, as it turns out, I won. (You can read the story here.)

There’s a lot to get done, so I wanted to check in and let you know I haven’t had another round of heart surgery or anything like that-I’ve been doing stuff!

Also, this website is about to start getting used a whole lot more than before and I do mean a LOT. Leaning on Social Media all the time is counter productive as hell. I think I’m going to start trimming the fat as it were. I still have the platform formerly known as Twitter, but it’s really becoming more clown-shoes than anything else. I am finding I interact more on Insta, FB and oddly enough, TikTok. I’m also on BlueSky, Threads and recently, started posting on Slasher.

But really, the place to go ought to be right here. (This is more for me to read than you.)

I’ve been posting some of the blurbs for the book and every once in a while, I forget that it’s my book they’re talking about.

It’s surreal and above all, awesome. There is the hope that this feeling never ever leaves me, or ever becomes complacent.
